As "Princess Aslaug," Alyssa Sutherland stars as "Princess Aslaug" in History's smash historical drama series Vikings (2013). Alyssa, a Brisbane native, began modeling at the age of 15 and was quickly featured on her first of several Vogue Australia covers. Alyssa subsequently relocated to New York, where she continued to model and appeared in advertisements for Calvin Klein, Coco Chanel, Ralph Lauren, and Bulgari, among others. Herb Ritts, Steven Miesel, Bruce Weber, and Ellen Von Unwerth are just a few of the world's best photographers who have captured her. Alyssa has also been featured in a number of international publications, including Vogue, Elle, Marie Claire, Harper's Bazaar, and Glamour. Alyssa performed in many independent films before joining the cast of "Vikings," including The Fortune Theory (2013), Don't Look Up (2009), and Day on Fire (2006), which screened at the Toronto and Berlin Film Festivals and starred Olympia Dukakis. Alyssa has been on the small screen in NBC's Law & Order: Special Victims Unit (1999) and Fox's New Amsterdam (2008).
